Last month Tibi praised the Palestinian Authority’s “martyrs” at a ceremony on the occasion of “Palestinian Israel’s Arab MKs are notorious for their anti-Israeli remarks and actions. The following video, entitled “This is What Ahmed Tibi is Afraid You’ll Find Out” presents some of these remarks and also reminds us that in Arab countries, Jews would not have the right to even be elected to government, let alone publicly speak against it. One of the scenes in the video shows MK Ahmed Tibi speaking in the Knesset plenum and describing the Israeli parliament as “becoming more and more extreme, fanatic, shallow and deserving – at least partially – of deep contempt.” Martyrs Day” and sponsored by PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas. This week, the Knesset Ethics Committee decided to deny Tibi the right to take part in the assembly’s minute-long speeches for a month, starting immediately, over the same crude marks.
