Share/Save – sananews A Saudi woman has been executed for practicing “witchcraft and sorcery” on Tuesday. A statement published by the state news agency said Amina bint Abdul Halim bin Salem Nasser was beheaded on Monday in the northern province of Jawf accusing that she was involved in witchcraft and sorcery. The practice of witchcraft and sorcery is punishable by death under Saudi Arabia’s Islamic Shariah law. Amnesty International said beheading took to 73 the number of executions in Saudi Arabia this year and more than 140 people are waiting for their turn of execution.
