The American Strategy over Afghanistan and Iraq

Change in Strategy after 9/11 It is clearly obvious that the strategic context alter after the terrorist’s attacks of 9/11. The Bush administration inaugurated the Bush doctrine. Under the new doctrine the USA has the right to preemptively attack any potential enemy of American interest. The Bush administration in 2001 attacked Afghanistan to remove the Taliban and Al Qaeda. In 2003, President Bush attacked Iraq remove Saddam Hussein because all the intelligence information indicated that it has weapons of mass destruction. That it was prove to be false; however American forces liberated two countries under brutal despotic regimes.

The caliph in Sunni Islam is the symbol of the supranational unity of the Muslims, and is the successor of Muhammad as the military, political, and spiritual leader of the Islamic community. There hasn’t been a caliph for nearly 90 years, but now Pakistan’s Minister of State for Industries, Ayatullah Durrani, has a novel idea for just the right man for the job: Barack Obama!
