The Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz has called on the Iraqi government to take all measures to control its borders, as does the Saudi government.

In reply to a question about the statements made in this regard by the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki, Prince Naif said "the Kingdom does not accept any abuse against the people and Government of Iraq, but Iraq has to control its borders as we did".

He denied allegations that Saudis penetrate to Iraq from the Saudi Iraqi borders.

"The Government of Iraq is aware from where these fighters come, as none of them enter from our borders. In the contrary, a number of Iraqis enter the Kingdom through the borders between the two countries", he said.
