IAF air strike in Gaza
The Israel Air Force struck Gaza a second time Monday evening, killing at least two terrorists in the northern town of Beit Hanoun.
The targeted terrorists were engaged in launching a rocket attack at civilians in southern Israel at the time they were attacked, the IDF Spokesperson's Office said in a statement.
The strike followed by several hours a sniper attack by Gaza terrorists in which a 36-year-old Haifa contractor and father of four was shot and killed as he worked on the security fence along the border.
An earlier attack targeting operatives riding a bicycle through the region eliminated two Islamic Jihad terrorists.
According to the IDF, the two were involved in a number of shooting attacks near the security fence that runs along with Israel's southern border with Gaza.
The Bethlehem-based Ma'an news agency, which often acts as a mouthpiece for the Palestinian Authority, reported that two Arab civilians were killed and three others were wounded in the Beit Hanoun air strike.
