The Palestinian Authority (PA)'s Fatah movement has quoted anti-Semitic material as fact, Palestinian Media Watch revealed Wednesday.

In an official PA television interview, Fatah spokesperson, Osama Al-Qawasmi, equated the the 19th century anti-Semitic forgery to the Bible.

"According to Israel's ideology, strategy and policy from 1956 until now, Gaza is outside the Israeli ideological thinking," he claimed, in the April 5 interview.

"Even in their Protocols [of the Elders of Zion] and even in their Bible [it says]: "Don't live in Gaza."

Protocols is a turn-of-the-century Russian work claiming that Jews are planning to build a New World Order under their subjugation. It was widely distributed in 1903, but was eventually proven false in 1921.

Anti-Semites frequently quote Protocols as justification for their hate, and the PA is no exception; PMW has shown that it regularly presents Protocols of the Elders of Zion as an authentic Jewish work.
