"Get the Infidels Out of the Courtroom" shouted the Muslim Killer Who Slaughtered a Copt!!!
During yesterday’s first session in the trial of the Aswan murderer Ahmed Abu-elroos, he shouted from inside his cage “Get the Infidels Out of the Courtroom, they are looking at me"
The defendant meant the victim's father Radi and brother Mina, who were present at court. The killer's brother Gaber, also shouted calling for the 'Infidels' to be thrown out of court, and threatened the Copts!!
This led to the two parties evacuating the courtroom by the police, to prevent any friction between them, and the meeting was attended only bthe lawyers.
The court decided to place the killer under psychiatric observation for a period of 45 days.
The heinous crime was committed early Monday 3rd November 2008 in the city of Kom Ombo, Aswan Governorate, when the 24-year-old Copt Romani Radi was slaughtered by the Muslim Ahmed Abu-elroos.
He stabbed him 6 times in the back, and then decapitated him. The murderer pleaded guilty to the murder charge.
Mina Radi, the victim's brother narrated the facts of the incident, saying "My brother Romani Radi (24 years) was a mobile phones engineer along with his partner, the Muslim Ahmed Abu-elroos. On Sunday night two men came to our house for my brother and asked him to accompany them to the house of his partner Ahmad for an important matter.
After a few hours we learned of the death of Romani, and when we went we found his body, stabbed 6 times at the back, and his throat was completely slit. The police imposed a siege on the place after the killer turned himself in and confessed to the crime, which he said he committed alone, although there were two other men with him but he refused to name them.
On the cause of the crime, Mina said, "We do not know the causes of the crime because Romani did not have any problems with his killer, The killer gave as reason what is usually given in the cases when a Copt is killed, which was that he came home to find Romani trying to molest his wife, so he killed him."
The victim's brother continued by saying: "In the beginning the wife confirmed that Romani tried to molest her, so her husband killed him.
However, when the prosecution told her she had to undergo a forensic examination; she broke down and told the truth. The wife said that she had a dispute with her husband, and went away for four days to her father's house. On Sunday night, her husband's brother took her back to her own home, where she found the victim Romani on the floor with his throat slit. Her husband and his brother gave her two alternatives, either to say that Romani tried to molest her, so her husband Ahmad killed him, or she would be killed her and the story would be that the husband came back home and found them together and killed them both. The wife said that she chose the first solution, so as not to be killed herself."
Mina said that there was a complete blackout on the investigations to the extent that the victim's lawyers were not able to attend the investigations.
The victim's brother called on all human rights organizations for support to get justice for his brother. He expressed his fear that the fate of his brother's incident will end up like all other incidents when Copts were killed and no one was taken to task, quoting the latest killing of a Copt in Dafesh village, Minia, where the killer was handed a one year suspended prison sentence.
Observers, who knew of yesterday's decision to place the killer under psychiatric observation, already deduced the outcome of this case, which would be that the killer is mentally disturbed and would be set free after a short stay in a psychiatric hospital!!!
